About Me

Hi, I'm Jo and welcome to Mum's Cake Kitchen!

I have always loved cake, making and eating them! When my eldest son was born I made a promise to him and myself that I would always make his birthday cakes, and I have to admit that I have loved the challenge, and challenges there were! His love of trains meant many Thomas the Tank Engine cakes were made, and when my second son was born, car, dinosaur and football cakes were a plenty. But I will always fondly remember the look on their faces when they saw their birthday cakes for the first time. And that is how Mum's Cake Kitchen was born!
